Why do a TEFL with GVI?

The Global Vision TEFL programme is distinguishable for a number of reasons;

  • The TEFL focuses on developing candidates to teach with minimal use of resources and with minimal recourse to technology. Many of the most needy areas of the world teachers may wish to go to for work after gaining their certifications with GVI won’t have laptops, photocopiers or vast libraries available. The GVI 100 hour and 50 hour TEFL programmes teach you to be an effective educator without such items.
  • When doing a TEFL with GVI you will never deliver simulated lessons to other candidates, you teach real students in real classrooms right from the start.
  • Training groups are small (generally 4 or less) with good levels of individual attention from caring trainers.
  • You do all your training living and working on a vibrant expedition base in an exotic location. You will share the experience with likeminded people who are motivated not just by gaining a TEFL but by helping make a difference to people with real need and little opportunity.

Accreditation:

GVI’s TEFL/TESOL programme is recognized as both a teacher training ground and a provider of quality English classes to local people. GVI is listed as an Institutional Member of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) and is a Member the College of Teachers (CoT). All the work GVI conducts is on behalf of and with a range of governmental and local associations and organizations. Job Placement service
