VOLUNTEER IN AFRICA
Volunteering in Africa with GVI offers a wide variety of opportunities to make a sustainable long-term difference. As the second most populous continent in the world, with over half the continent under the age of 25, your time and skills would be greatly appreciated over a range of different focuses including childcare, healthcare, teaching, wildlife conservation and more.
- A local township care centre in Cape Town
- A Wildlife Conservation Internship at a private game reserve in Limpopo, or
- Gaining your PADI Divemaster while volunteering on critical marine conservation projects in the Seychelles.
GVI has been operating volunteer projects all over the world for the past 14 years, and our projects in Africa are no different. We are proud of our approach of establishing long-term and sustainable projects, in which the local community is always consulted first and foremost in order to determine their needs. With the contribution of volunteers, we work together in partnership to achieve these goals.
