Tailor-made Opportunities
While nearly all GVI’s standard programs listed on our website take school groups many schools tend to take advantage of our tailor-made services. We have a department solely dedicated to designing volunteering itineraries around your exact requirements be it by duration, project focus, training courses or adventure and cultural add-ons. We can also build in elements that keep the project alive for you and your students upon your return home. These include DVD’s of your experience in the field and updates on how your project is doing and how your work continues to benefit the community through blogs and newsletters.
Support and Services
All GVI’s extensive support and services are included on every group booking which takes all the stress out of organising such a trip. We can take care of everything from flights to insurance and what to pack. We also run pre-departure travel safety and awareness workshops to make sure your students are prepared for the whole volunteer travel experience.
Group Discounts for Schools
- For every 8 students a teacher goes free (not including flights or insurance)
- We can also arrange familiarization trips for teachers wanting to visit projects sites before bringing a school group. If you go on to book a group of 8 or more after your visit we will refund 50% of your project fee
