TEFL
If you are interested in education, are thinking about becoming a teacher or want to have a job that allows you to travel the world, doing a GVI TEFL course could be for you. GVI’s TEFL courses are specifically designed to train people to teach using minimal resources, by combining theory with practical classroom experience. They will give you an entry into the commercial world of TEFL, and might make you realize just how much you want to be a teacher.

Internships
GVI is able to offer a large range of jobs, internships and other exciting career development opportunities in the fields of education, research, environmental management and wildlife management. By participating on a GVI expedition you will receive the training and experience you need to apply for these field positions. As well as the enjoyment and training that you gain by joining an expedition, these field positions offer valuable opportunities to further your training, increase your hands-on field experience, learn a new language or simply enjoy working abroad.

BTEC
With GVI you have the opportunity to complete an A-level equivalent qualification whilst on your 5 or 10 week expedition. This unique opportunity allows you to gain a Level 3 BTEC Advanced Certificate in a diversity of habitats around the world. Recognised and approved by Edexcel, the UK’s largest awarding body, this qualification can help you into university or give you the boost you may need for a career change. This qualification is open to volunteers of any nationality, despite being a UK based qualification.
