Volunteer Teaching and Travel in South America

Spanish classes

The Spanish lessons are one to one tuition and the school offers courses ranging from beginner and intermediate, to advanced levels. The classes have an emphasis on grammar and conversation. You will receive 40 hours one on one tuition at the start of the program, as part of the program fee, and more can be arranged in each country if you would like.

Once in Brazil, you will receive group classes in basic Portuguese.

Time spent in each country

Below is a rough guideline of how long you will spend in each country. Please note this may be subject to change.

• 3 months - volunteers will spend 5 weeks in Ecuador, 5 weeks in Peru and 2 weeks in Brazil.
• 6 months - volunteers will spend 10 weeks in Ecuador, 9 weeks in Peru and 7 weeks in Brazil.
• 9 months - volunteers will spend 15 weeks in Ecuador, 12 weeks in Peru and 12 weeks in Brazil.
• 12 months - volunteers will spend 20 weeks in Ecuador, 16 weeks in Peru and 16 weeks in Brazil.

Depending on your nationality and the duration of your stay volunteers may require visa/s. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa/s.
