What's Included

All food and accommodation (tents, mattresses, etc), field training, GVI’s Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support.

What's Not Included

International & internal flights, transportation to the site, medical and travel insurance, spending money, personal kit.

The Booking Process

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to Athens International Airport (ATH), then bus to KTEL bus station (40mis), followed by bus to Gythio (4hrs). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
