What's Included

Airport pickup and Drop-off from San Pedro Sula, All Accommodation and Food (apart from Sunday’s), Transport to and from project sites, 10 hours one-on-one Spanish per week, Criminal Records Bureau check for UK participants Half-day adventure activity. Funding for the completion of each individual project, per family, per week. GVI’s Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support.

What's Not Included

International flights, medical and travel insurance, personal kit, spending money.

The Booking Process

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers need to fly into Ramon Villeda Morales International airport in San Pedro Sula (SAP) in time for a midday pickup by GVI staff on the first or third Saturday of each month. You can arrive on another Saturday though will need to make your own way to Copán.
