What's Included

Airport Pick up and drop off, All food and accommodation, internal transportation, 60 hours of one-on-one Spanish; several adventure and cultural side trips in each country, which includes: a hiking adventure, bike expedition and kayaking at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala; a trip to explore the world famous Copan Ruins; a horse ride and trek in Honduras + many more, GVI’s Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support.

What's Not Included

International flights, visa costs, medical and travel insurance, spending money.

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should fly into La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City (GUA). Your return flight will be from Augusto C Sandino airport in Managua (MGA). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
