Sample Day

On each project the day begins early in the morning, either teaching in local schools or community centres, or preparing for classes later in the day (with initial assistance from group members and trainers). The contents of the lessons and the presentation techniques to be used are the responsibility of the expedition members, and one of the big opportunities of this expedition is to rise to that challenge and become creative. Free time and weekends can be utilised with cultural programmes unique to each area.

Sample Week

Volunteering times will differ from one project to another. Some may involve working afternoons or weekends, yet you will always have free time to explore the local communities and take advantage of the varied and exciting side trips on offer.
