Arrival And Departure Information
Volunteers should get a flight to Krabi, Thailand (KBV). Alternatively you can fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok and take a bus (approx 10-12 hours). At the end of the first 5 weeks in Thailand, volunteers will have the option of travelling back to the airport or travelling on at their leisure. At the time of booking volunteers must also have confirmed their start dates for the additional programs with their local GVI office – so you may wish to travel straight on to the next project or take time to explore the region before the next start date.
