Malaysia FlagMalaysia, in Southeast Asia is made up of 13 states and three territories. It is separated into two regions by the South China Sea; Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo. Malaysia borders Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and the Philippines.

The population of Malaysia is approximately 25 million. Once reliant on the exportation of raw materials, such as tin, rubber and palm oil, Malaysia has diversified and manufacturing, services and tourism play a large role in the country’s economy. Islam is the largest as well as the official religion of the federation.
