What's Included

Induction to the projects being carried out in Uganda by JGI; the chance to visit the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the JGI Chimpanzee Ecotourism site in Budongo Forest; the chance to see JGI’s programmes in action; living on the edge of at least one of the chimpanzee forests in Uganda and working with local schools in the surrounding area. Accomodation, Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support

What's Not Included

Food, international flights, medical and travel insurance, spending money.

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.
