Kim Roques - Founder and Director
Kim is an ecologist and project and organizational manager with an MSc in Conservation & Applied Ecology. He has an intimate knowledge of southern Africa, its biodiversity and its people. During the past decade he has initiated a number of conservation and rural development projects in southern Africa. He has managed a National Park, led a wildlife research department and published papers in a number of regional and international journals. He has also managed a Global Environment Facility and World Bank funded conservation and rural development program.
Roland Thorne - Operations Director
Roland is an environmental and tourism manager with a BSc (hons) in Environmental Management and Tourism. He has an intimate knowledge of southern Africa, its biodiversity and its people. During the past five years he has developed and managed backpacker lodges, lead a variety of expeditions and implemented a number of conservation and community development projects in southern Africa. He is currently responsible for directing volunteer operations and projects.
Sifiso Dasilva - Project Leader Swaziland
Sifiso is a community project and volunteer organizer and with experience in a variety of social education and community projects. He has also been a tour guide and has a passion for working with people. Sifiso leads volunteers in the field on teaching and care projects in Swaziland.
