What's Included

Orientation and welcome; airport transfers; internal transportation related to the project; accommodation and food; a five-day camping safari in Kruger National Park; a six-day tour of Mozambique, which includes your Mozambique visa, a snorkelling trip with whale sharks and a kayak trip to an island. A 7 day tour of the coast of South Africa en route to Cape Town. GVI’s Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support.

What's Not Included

International flights, visa costs, medical and travel insurance.

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should fly to Matsapha Intl (MTS) airport in Swaziland on Monday (also known as Manzini airport). You should book your return flights from Cape Town International (CPT) airport. More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
