Overview
Scuba Diving Training Courses from All Levels to Divemaster or Instructor in Cancun, Mexico
Combine professional PADI scuba diving qualifications with marine conservation, cultural visits, adventure, internships and a job placement service.
Global Vision International (GVI) has been involved in the scuba diving industry for over a decade and we are perhaps best known for our global marine conservation programs which rely on scuba divers, trained by GVI, to carry our marine research projects. Our professional dive courses, which follow the PADI course structure, are an educational adventure leading to globally respected qualifications and employment opportunities worldwide.
We currently offer a number of courses including:
1. PADI Open Water Diver to PADI Divemaster in 6/8 weeks (dependent upon the work placement option)
2. PADI Advanced (or equivalent) to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in 12 weeks.
3. For those already at Divemaster or higher levels shorter PADI Instructor Development courses are also available.
4. Customised shorter courses from Open Water or Advanced, through to Advanced, Rescue and Master Scuba Diver with a number of optional specialities.
5. Cavern, Intro to Cave and Full Cave Diving Courses
What sets these courses apart are the inclusions; lectures on marine biology, the job placement service and most importantly the conservation aspects for which GVI is so well known. These are so much more than professional dive training courses.

Location
You are going to be doing the majority of your dive training in the magnificent environs of the Yucatan Caribbean around Cancun and the coastline stretching to the south and Playa del Carmen. Renowned the world over for its incredible dive sites, this part of the Caribbean is without doubt one of the planets greatest dive locations. Cancun is a justifiably world famous destination, with magnificent palm fringed white sand beaches, nearby Mayan ruins, world class hotels and amenities and a vibrant atmosphere and nightlife. The climate is tropical and the people native to the region are of Mayan descent. Cancun was a sleepy little fishing community until the world began to discover the amazing natural beauty of the region. A renowned feature of Caribbean diving is the water clarity and depending on the season and weather divers can enjoy 30 – 60 metre visibility.
