Insurance Services through Campbell Irvine
It is essential that you have adequate travel insurance for the duration of your stay. Please note that many household polices and conventional travel polices do not provide adequate cover for volunteer projects and working overseas. In the unlikely event that you do have an accident you must be covered for all contingencies including medical emergency air evacuation.
GVI has arranged travel insurance with AXA Insurance (UK) Plc* through GVI’s preferred insurance broker Campbell Irvine, who have been involved in arranging specialist travel insurance for over 30 years. The GVI policy is unique, as it has been specifically designed to cover every activity automatically included as part of the GVI expedition/project.
This single trip policy is available to anyone, no matter where they reside in the world, with repatriation back to the home country, not just the UK, subject to the appropriate premium having been paid. The policy has extensive coverage with a 24-Hour Worldwide emergency Medical Service provided by Specialty Assistance, experts in providing friendly and professional emergency help.
Please note that if you chose not to take our recommended insurance then we require written confirmation that you have an alternative policy that provides cover, which is as comprehensive as our own.
If purchasing directly with Campbell Irvine please specify that you are traveling with GVI to ensure full coverage.
