What's Included

All food and accommodation, airport transfers, and the training and materials necessary for expedition activities; basic Thai lessons; comprehensive TEFL training and certification; a variety of side-trips, including a boat trip around Phang-Nga Bay, a visit to ‘James Bond Island’, and explorations to hot springs, caves, waterfalls and turtle nesting beaches; an Emergency First Aid course; 24-hour in-country support and a 24-hour emergency phone line.

What's Not Included

International flights, medical and travel insurance.

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to and from Krabi, Thailand (KBV). Alternatively you can fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok and take a bus (approx 10-12 hours). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
