Volunteering in Chile
As the longest country in the world, Chile contains a mesmerising diversity of panoramas full of astounding contrasts. From towering mountains to long stretches of beaches, red-hot volcanoes to gleaming white salt flats, majestic fjords and emerald lakes to the driest desert in the world, steaming geysers to immense ice fields and glaciers; the almost 4,000 km long country has plenty to offer anyone wishing to volunteer abroad with adventure in mind. Sandwiched between the rigid Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Chile is a geographically self-contained and friendly country where a thriving arts, music and literature scene can be enjoyed whilst you sample gorgeous cuisine and fine wine.
Go on adventurous expeditions traversing the San Rafael glacier, surf the rolling barrels of the Pacific Ocean, see the beautiful architecture of La Serena, climb volcanoes, white-water raft, go fly-fishing, ski, hike, horse trek, bird-watch, relax on the beach or go on a wine tour; whatever you choose to do when volunteering in Chile, it is doubtful you will ever be stuck for something to do!
