Volunteering in Italy
Italy is one of Europe’s most charming destinations, with a cultural legacy, divine cuisine and beautiful scenery that appeals to all who choose to volunteer abroad here. Mixing history with modernity, Italy has more UNESCO World Heritage Sites than any other country and maintains strongly family-orientated traditions, yet also has a number of progressive, vibrant cities that volunteers can explore by scooter before going to a club in the evening.
Italy also contains beautiful scenery within its boot-shape, from the stretching olive groves of Tuscany to the wooded Apennine Mountains that stretch down its east coast, the many national parks that contain beautiful wildlife to the crystal-clear lakes scattered throughout the mountains. Relax on a secluded beach in the south, ski down a snow-capped mountain in the Alps, sip some of the country’s finest wine in a cafe in Florence or float through the canals of Venice; whatever adventures you have, volunteering in Italy is sure to be la dolce vita!
