Volunteering in Europe
Few regions in the world offer such a variety of landscapes, cultures and incredible adventures to have in such a small area as Europe. From the sun-drenched Mediterranean beaches of Spain to the epic fjords of Norway that lie on the edge of the Arctic Circle, the crisp mountain peaks of the Alps to some of the world’s most famous cities including romantic Paris, historical Rome and cosmopolitan London; Europe is rich in wondrous diversity and multiplicity, making it a brilliant place in which to volunteer abroad.
Much of Europe’s appeal is that it is impossible to define, having a variety of distinct and unique countries that are themselves filled with a tapestry of cultures, races, cuisines and languages, and whichever country in Europe you choose to find volunteer work in will take you on a distinct and unique adventure. Volunteering in Europe may see you in Latvia sledging down hills blanketed in snow with the children of the orphanage you work in; diving in azure waters researching monk seals with a small team of marine biologists in Turkey; or exploring crumbling columns before windsurfing till the sun sets, living on an idyllic island of white sand beaches in Greece.
