Volunteering in Nicaragua
Though Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America, it is one of the least densely populated and least visited. Much of its terrain and heritage therefore remains relatively untouched; allowing a new generation of adventurers seeking volunteer work to discover an extraordinarily individualistic country of undisturbed natural beauty, peaceful colonial towns, engaging locals and cultural vibrancy.
The countrys diverse landscape of mountains, island paradises, beaches, volcanoes, rainforests, lakes and marshy Caribbean lowlands is all there to be explored, trekked, surfed and conquered before you wander the streets of striking cities and towns picking up crafts from handicrafts markets. A country of artists, poets, and inhabitants noted for their exceptional hospitability and passion; Nicaragua harbours an amazing traditional culture alongside its awe-inspiring natural splendour.
