Volunteering in Nepal
Though only a small country, what Nepal lacks in size it more than makes up for in spectacular scenery and the great variety of adventures on offer. Located between Tibet and India, Nepal holds a mysticism and cultural splendour in which innumerable temples and ancient monuments are dotted along spectacular pilgrim trails. Sitting along the spine of the Himalayas, Nepal will appeal to anyone seeking volunteer work who loves the outdoors, having sublime scenery and some of the best walking routes in the world.
If you want to relax your calf muscles, you can explore Nepals bustling capital city Kathmandu; canoe through national parks in the south of the country spotting Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceros, deer, wild oxen, crocodiles and over 450 species of birds; or white-water raft down one of Nepals picturesque rivers. Anyone volunteering in Nepal will have an array of awesome experiences and adventures which will stay in their dreams long after they leave.
