Visa Support

At GVI we have teamed up with CIBT, the Global Visa and Passport Professionals, to provide you with VISA support services to ensure your trip runs as smoothly as possible. This is very important as the country or countries you are travelling through, may require a visa depending on your personal circumstances, whether it be on holiday or working.

In some countries GVI have multiple programs with different visa requirements. If in doubt, please contact GVI and consult your program field manual for advice from GVI staff as to which visa we recommend for travel. 

For some programs and destinations you may need to renew or extend a visa after you arrive in-country.  We will work with local authorities to determine which visa is most appropriate for you.

For a small fee, CIBT can also help in obtaining relevant visas or even renewing your passport.

Due to the rapidly changing world in which we live, immigration rules and regulations can and do change without warning, so you should always consult the relevant embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission before travelling. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa(s) for the duration of your trip, and neither GVI nor CIBT can be held responsible if you are unable to join your program as planned due to visa issues.
