The Spanish Classes

The Spanish classes are all one-on-one individual classes, based on your personal level, and run for four hours a day for the first two weeks. Emphasis is placed on grammar and conversation, and the classes will take place either in the teacher’s house or in the school.

Adventure Activities

Coroico’s geographical position in the heart of the Yungas, set between some of the highest points of the Andes and the Amazon rainforest, gives volunteers the opportunity to go on some amazing weekend excursions. Included in the programme fee are various excursions to give you an idea of the treks and activities which abound in the area. Included in the fee is a trip down ‘The Most Dangerous Road in the World’, weekend trips to Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world) and the Isla del Sol, a hiking and horse riding weekend trip in an eco-lodge, and a Moon Valley Tour around La Paz. There is an abundance of other activities for you to do, including rafting, skiing and mountaineering – advice for which can be given once in La Paz or Coroico.
