What's Included

International flights; medical and travel insurance; personal items; spending money; inoculations and medication.

The Booking Process

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to and from La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City (GUA). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Both inbound and outbound flights should be booked for Saturday, if at all possible. You will be met at the airport by a GVI project staff member, and driven back to a hotel in Antigua where you will spend Saturday night.
