Overview
South African National Parks Internship Scheme
Learn new skills and play a part in the long term conservation of South African national parks for 6 months or one year on this Internship Program
Interns on this fantastic programme in South Africa will undergo a comprehensive two week training placement in Kruger National Park delivered by industry specialists, before gaining high-profile environmental education and conservation experience working at one of South Africa's twenty National Parks. GVI is looking for independent, ambitious applicants to work for 6 months to one year in one of these parks, to be placed in the ‘People and Conservation’ department. Wildlife is abundant and cultural interaction is crucial - you will help implement new policies and programmes developed by SANParks to integrate local communities into the conservation of the natural and cultural heritage sites within the parks.
A rollercoaster full of wonderful impressions, amazing landscapes, unique people, different thoughts, precious flora, great discoveries, new friendships, beautiful animals, mysterious cultures...
