Moon Reef
The heavily forested and mountainous district of Dawasamu in the northeast of Viti Levu, Fijia’s largest island, is home to eight villages and several schools, a 2-hour journey by bus from Fiji’s capital city of Suva. What makes Dawasamu unique is Moon Reef, famous as the only place in Fiji where Spinner dolphins are seen using a reef as critical resting habitat every day of the year.
