Arequipa is Peru’s second largest city, located just over a 1-hours flight, or 13 hours by bus south of Peru’s capital city Lima. Between the desert and the Peruvian Andes, volunteer will study and live in Arequipa whilst travelling to nearby communities, or ‘pueblos jovenes’, to undertake the teaching projects at altitudes of up to 2500m.
