Robert - Ecuadorian Student from Yachana

Today I woke up at 5:00am because I was going on a birdcount. I was only out for 1 hour because it was raining very heavily. We went to Mondaña to watch the children who were going to perform for us. (Traditional dance/dress). Then we played football and bought some coca-cola and lolly pops. It was time to go but everyone wanted to stay, we had to go as the canoe was waiting for us, many people on the canoe were enjoying the scenery around them, they told me my country was very beautiful. I felt very proud. I came back to the jungle house and went to my room and fell asleep straight away. I heard ‘5 minutes’ people started to come to the tables, then Kris shouted ‘Dinner’. I was happy because he had cooked rice. I was very hungry and enjoyed talking with everyone. Lisa helped me with this and now she is off to bed as it is very late (8:34pm). I am going to read using a Petzl head-torch tonight. I really enjoyed being here and look forward to seeing everyone for breakfast tomorrow.
