What's Included

All food and accommodation, airport transfers, and the training and materials necessary for program activities; basic Thai lessons; comprehensive TEFL training and certification; a variety of side-trips, including sea kayaking trips through mangrove channels and limestone caves and explorations to temples, rainforests, waterfalls and turtle nesting beaches; an Emergency First Aid course; 24-hour in-country support and a 24-hour emergency phone line. 10 week work placement in Thailand, Laos or Cambodia.

What's Not Included

International flights, transfer to final teaching placement in Thailand, Cambodia, or Laos, medical and travel insurance.

The Booking Process

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to and from Krabi, Thailand (KBV). Alternatively you can fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok and take a bus (approx 10-12 hours). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
