A letter of thanks
Luang Prabang, May 28th, 2015
Dear GVI Volunteers and Staff Members,
Tomorrow I will quit this great project. Although I am of course happy to soon see my family again, I am also sad as I will miss the students at Wat Pha-O and at the Xayadeth College as well, I will miss you all.
In particular, I would like to thank my teaching partners Malene and Josh with whom I have had a real good time. The teaching was a real highlight and we had some good fun.
As the oldest of the volunteers, I must say that I had the feeling of being well accepted by all and that was for sure a satisfaction. For this, I thank you all very much.
For sure, we are all of us issued from different backgrounds and from different cultures. It is however, important that the volunteers remain united because this is what makes the strongest team.
I wish you all much satisfaction in the continuation of teaching for the project and I also wish you a very good and successful long life.
