This year sees the end of the separate teams of Alexis Arguello & La Thompson, and heralds the beginning of "Team Phoenix"!!! Both communities will be playing as one for the first time, so we took no time at all to put together their first training session. Local football trainer & P.E teacher ( and Chirley & Julissa's dad ), took on the responsibility, and gave a fantastic training session. From the moment the bus picked the kids up till when they got dropped off, they all found it very diificult to contain their excitement. Over 30 students took part in the warm-ups, drills, training in technique and to finish off a football game. It was a great experience for the kids and we know from all the singing they were doing on the bus back, how much they enjoyed it. As the kids said " Que viva Messi", "Que viva the bus driver", and "Que viva Phoenix". Till next time.
