Costumes and Weekend Adventures
The team spirit at Pez Maya is growing; we have loads of fun together! Not even unpredictable weather can bring our smiles down. If diving isn’t an option we just arrange volleyball tournaments, salsa lessons, and other fun stuff instead.
On Friday evenings costume parties are a standard. Last weekend it was all about the Hunger Games. Since you have to make your costume jungle-style, we made bows and arrows from palm trees and ropes found on the beach. It’s all about being creative!
On the weekends we have the option to go into town (usually Tulum or Playa del Carmen). Last Saturday a group of us decided to go Bull Shark diving. We had one of the best dives ever! Having several 2.5m long predators swimming a meter away from you gives quite an adrenalin kick.
We are now looking forward to next weekend, where we plan to go swimming with sea turtles in Akumal just outside of Tulum.
