Cactus Language Training and Global Vision International join forces
30 June 2009Cactus, one of the world’s leading language training companies, today announces a new partnership with volunteer experience specialist Global Vision International, to provide combined Spanish language and volunteering projects in 8 countries across Latin America.
The combined projects are available in Honduras, Gautemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. They are ideal for those wishing to get a head start in their travels and intensify their role as a volunteer in Latin America by first learning the local language.
Cactus courses accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced, and on average comprise 20 Spanish lessons per week. The Spanish course can run for between 1-13 weeks, depending on the learner’s existing language level and the level they aspire to. With language lessons taking place in the morning, the afternoons are left free to take part in social, cultural or sporting activities organised by the school, or to explore the town and surrounding area.
Cactus and Global Vision International share a similar outlook, which is what makes this such a great partnership” comments Germaine Broadbent, Sales Director at Cactus Training. “As organisations, we both like to make a difference in the world and enjoy a great experience in the process. The new combined projects allow just that. They bundle together two experiences which have a natural synergy – language and volunteering - from two organisations which are experts in their field, so our clients can trust that each part of their trip will be really well organised.”
Neil Finnie, Marketing and Partners Manager at Global Vision International, continues: “Partnerships rarely fit better than that between Cactus Training and Global Vision International. The ability to volunteer overseas is greatly appreciated, whatever skills you may have, but to be able to help and converse in the local language is a real added bonus. Global Vision International knows how to run worthwhile and successful volunteer programs, and Cactus knows how to set up and offer great language courses overseas. With the two having such a perfect match it was never going to be long before we realised the potential of this working relationship.”
