Description

Act as the base medic and staff on all trips into the primary forest, including remote Satellite camps. Assist in all areas of the running of the Ecuador expedition. Assist leading groups whilst conducting scientific research transects. Work alongside GVI and local biologists carrying out research. Assist with the training of all Expedition Members in First Aid and CPR, wilderness medicine and emergency evacuation procedures.

Qualifications Required

  • Doctor, nurse or paramedic with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Management experience
  • Wilderness Medicine a distint advantage

Qualifications Desired

  • Spanish language desirable
  • Expedition experience a definite advantage
